Refining & Processing
AIPC’s refinery, one of Qatar’s well-established refining facilities, was commissioned in 1997 and is strategically located in Qatar. In 2017, the refinery completed a major expansion project with an investment exceeding USD 500 million.
Prior to the expansion, the facility had a processing capacity of 100,000 barrels per stream day (bpsd) of condensate, producing a range of refined products including naphtha, reformate, jet fuel, diesel, fuel oil, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for domestic consumption and export markets. Following the expansion, the refinery’s throughput capacity increased to 170,000 barrels per stream day (bpsd), significantly enhancing its production capability.
